My general philosophy on photography: It's an ugly world, but it's really important to me to try to show beauty where it isn't normally perceived, which is why I have taken photos of snow, frozen raindrops, decaying leaves, weeds from my yard, etc. When looked at closely enough, they are all quite beautiful.
